Tradition, experience, education. Being second generation in his career as an acupuncturist has allowed the opportunity to work with Chinese medicine for over 20 years.
In 1999 he met a teacher and continued to accumulate experience working in a Chinese medical practice. This was a 5 year apprenticeship in a 25 year practice with 90-100 patients per week. Brad increased his knowledge and gained the experience of working in a fast paced environment with a full herbal/nutritional pharmacy. In addition to the regular clinical practice, he also assisted with a free clinic over a 1 year period focused on the treatment of an HIV+/AIDS population. A complementary and alternative medicine study was conducted showing significant quality of life enhancement. Results of the study were reported in The Journal of Acupuncture.
Brad graduated from a 31/2 year, full time Chinese Medicine Program in December 2007 with 2100 hours of formal academic training, 900 hands on clinical hours and over 400 treatments administered. This clinical training included experience in a rehabilitation facility for acute traumas. In addition, he attended regular clinical rounds with a leading Chinese doctor in Sarasota and has been invited by two leading practitioners in the area to treat their patients in their absence. He then went into practice with 2 leading physicians in the Tampa area treating a diversity of cases out of the Brandon, FL office.
Serving the greater Hanover, PA area health care needs for the past year continues to be an honor for Brad as he re-discovers the area where he grew up. Twenty-nine years ago Brad began acupuncture therapy to complement diet, exercise, and lifestyle choices and continues to be mindful of his own health. He extends his experiences of his own health maintenance regimen to his clients through a comprehensive healing approach. ...the tradition continues...
